Dawn Welch was a Parent Educator for the Parents as Teachers program for Neosho School District for 16 years. She worked an additional 5+ years as an elementary school Administrative Assistant. She has owned and operated a licensed daycare as well as a preschool, and has worked for Head Start. Dawn was a teacher and assistant director of a large church daycare for 3 years as well. She is now a parent aide and teacher for Family Advocacy Solutions, and she manages the Neosho office. Dawn is currently earning her Bachelors in Sociology with an emphasis in social work.
Dawn has been married for 31 years and has two children. She and her husband were licensed foster parents for 8 years. Dawn has lived in Southwest Missouri her entire life and has enjoyed working with children and families throughout her career. Dawn enjoys crafting, jewelry making, camping, reading, BBQ's, and spending time with her family.
