Kim Chappell
Parent Aide, Trainer
Kim Chappell graduated from College of the Ozarks in 1988 with a degree in Graphic Design and Art. Kim got married to her husband at age 27 and tried for years to have children. With no ability to have kids, the couple started fostering in 2008.
This family has fostered for 15 years and has adopted 8 and in process of #9. The children the Chappells had from foster care were generally Level A and were in their home for 3 years on average before they went back to their families.
It has always been Kim’s goal to get a better path for the foster kids and the bio families. Her rule for her kids that have been adopted is that as long as bio families are clean and sober... they can be in the kids' lives.
Kim has been a graphic designer for 39 years and a parent aide for 3 years. Kim has taught foster care classes for over 8 years and totally enjoys working with foster families and bio families of foster kids.
Kim currently is a Parent Aide, Graphic Designer, Foster parent and Foster trainer.
