Melissa Gasser

Melissa began her working career right out of college with the State of Missouri as a social service worker, investigating child abuse and neglect in Greene County. She worked there for 6 years while working on her Masters of Education and teacher certification. She then became an elementary teacher for 22 years, teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades before retiring from teaching.

Melissa was a foster parent for Greene and Christian Counties. She and her husband are also adoptive parents of a beautiful 9 year old girl, who has been with them since she was born. Melissa is happy to do home studies for prospective and relative foster care.
